See Taylor Swift in Cap and Gown for Rare Public Appearance at NYU Commencement

After months out of the spotlight, Taylor Swift is set to take the stage during New York University’s commencement ceremony on May 18 at Yankee Stadium. Watch her get ready for the special day.

It’s hard to calm following the Taylor Swift sighting.

In May 18th, the famous performer had the crowd excited as she got ready for the New York University’s graduation ceremony in Yankee Stadium, during which she’ll be presented with an honorary doctorate from the university Doctor of Fine Arts Honoris Causa.

Before she took her place on stage Swift uploaded her video on TikTok video of her getting dressed for the event. “Wearing an apron with a dress for the the first time in her life,” Swift wrote in the caption of her tweet. “See your in the near future NYU.”

This performance is one of a kind one for Swift as she’s been generally unnoticed since the release of Red (Taylor’s version) in November. The month she was in she appeared in the show Saturday Night Live and also made appearances in video messages during the 2021 Aria Awards and 2021 American Music Awards. Since then, Swift has been keeping a low-profile–celebrating her 32nd birthday, spending time with her family and recently attending an Oscars party with her longtime love, Joe Alwyn
