“Taylor Hawkins” memory will be honored by Foo Fighters at a special concert at Wembley.

The Foo Fighters will perform a special concert at London’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday with a star-studded lineup in honor of their drummer Taylor Hawkins.

With the drummer’s family’s cooperation, the event is being planned.

This occasion will honor the late musician’s “monolithic skill and magnetic personality” and mark the group’s first live appearance since the 50-year-death old’s in his hotel room in Colombia in March.

Among the musicians playing at the performance are Nile Rodgers, Brian May of Queen, and Liam Gallagher.

Numerous other drummers from well-known bands are also performing, including Roger Taylor from Queen, Travis Barker from Blink-182, Lars Ulrich from Metallica, and Martin Chambers from The Pretenders.

Additionally scheduled to participate are Taylor Hawkins, the leader of The Darkness, his son Shane, Dave Grohl’s daughter Violet, pop artist Kesha, and Luke Spiller of The Struts.

American comedians Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock will each do a special show that evening.

The entire program will be broadcast live and streamed on Paramount+ and MTV’s YouTube site. It will be directed by Joel Gallen and produced by Emer Patten of EP-PIC Films & Creative.

The Music Support and MusiCares charities, which were chosen by the Taylor Hawkins family, who helped organize the event, will receive money from concert tickets and product sales.
Along with Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, and Rami Jaffee, Hawkins had played for more than 20 years in the group led by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl.

After traveling with Alanis Morissette earlier, he joined Foo Fighters in 1997. Taylor Hawkins co-starred in the band’s recently released movie, Studio 666, them.

The band canceled their forthcoming tour dates and a scheduled appearance at the Grammy Awards after his passing in March.

The band won each of the three trophies for which they were nominated at the 64th annual awards ceremony, which they did not attend.

The day after the London performance, a second concert will take place at The Kia Forum in Los Angeles, featuring performers like Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith and Alanis Morissette.
