Thieves rob $2 million worth of precious items from a New York City jewelry store.

The robbers of Smash and Grab who were based in New York City stole a vast amount of expensive jewelry in a heist that was discovered.

The robbery occurred at Rocco’s Jewelers located in the Bronx in the afternoon on Friday at approximately 22:30 p.m. According to the business, the company was able to lose $2.15 Million worth of items during the robbery.

The store, which is situated in the Fordham Heights section of the Bronx and is a short stroll to Fordham University, was closed on Saturday as police investigated the location.

Surveillance footage shows one of the suspects looking cool when he walks up to the shop and waits for his entry.

One or two thieves used a hammer to smash the glass cases while the other thieves put fistfuls of jewellery in bags.

The heist that took place lasted just a few minutes and is believed to have been well planned. Police have released images as well as descriptions of suspects in order to collect more information.
